Gerald (Jerry) was born in Jerome, AZ. Jerry graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Business Administration and received a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Medical Service Corps. Jerry later earned his Masters of Public Health degree from Yale University. Jerry left the Air Force with the rank of Major with over 23 years of active service. Jerry’s has served Kern County for over 30 years in CEO, COO and Vice President Positions at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, Kern Medical Center, Mercy Hospital and Delano Regional Medical Center. Jerry is married to Robin. He is a Charter Member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Bakersfield Breakfast. Jerry also enjoys volunteer work in his Church, as a CASA Advocate, and serving at the Guild House in support of the Henriett a Weill Memorial Child Guidance Clinic.
