Having been raised in Taft and living here the majority of her life, Taft gives Jan a good perspective on small town living. Jan has been involved in many aspects of the community including serving on the Taft Union High School Board for 20 years, and currently serving on other boards: The ARC, Taft District Chamber of Commerce, and Taft High ROP as Chairperson, Taft College Foundation, and Taft High Hall of Fame chairperson. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Fresno State in education, but chose nursing as a career. She is a certified Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner, but is currently retired. Jan is married with two children.
Serves on the Personeel and Community Outreach Committee.
