Mission Statement

West Side Family Health Care carries out the health and wellness mission of the West Side Health Care District in offering quality urgent care services, limited primary care and preventive care services through seasonal and employee immunization programs and community outreach. Our services will be quality and customer service focused and offered to all patients consistent with the staff and equipment capabilities of the Urgent Care Center.

Treatment

West Side Family Health Care is not staffed and equipped as an Emergency Department but is staffed and equipped to treat urgent (same day) acute illness and minor injuries. Obvious emergencies should contact local emergency response agencies through 911.

Appointments

No appointment is necessary at West Side Family Health Care, all patients will be assessed and will be seen based on acuity as well as arrival time. However you may choose to make an appointment for faster service.

Who We Treat

Our providers will offer urgent and limited primary care to adults of all ages and pediatric services to patients under 18 years of age on a walk-in basis or by appointment.

Lab Work

Limited Laboratory services are offered by West Side Family Health Care. Some laboratory services may be referred to a reference laboratory

 

Radiology Services

West Side Family Health Care offers radiology services to urgent care patients and to the patients of outside providers who are referred toWest Side Family Health Care with the written order/prescription of their physician/provider.

Hours of Operation:

West Side Family Health Care is open 7 days a week; weekends and holidays. The hours are as follow:
Monday-Friday  8:00AM to 9:00PM;
Pediatric Hours  10:00AM to 4:00PM
Weekends and Holidays 10:00AM to 9:00PM

Policy For Late Arriving Patients:

The Clinic’s closing time is 9:00 PM each day. The following policy is necessary to enable the staff on duty to complete patient care procedures and documentation for patients in the process of patient care.

·Patients arriving after 8:30PM will be greeted by staff and evaluated by a Registered or Licensed Vocational Nurse.

·The patient may be evaluated as:

Unstable or potentially unstable and referred to or advised to seek emergency      services

In need of urgent care, referred to the physician or mid-level provider on              duty

Not in need of urgent care and assisted to make an appointment with a                  provider the next day

Payment Options

Cash payment at the time of service maybe required for co-pays and self-insured patients. Credit and Debit cards are accepted. Most Insurance Plans are accepted.
