Darren has been a local resident of the Westside his entire life. He was employed with Chevron for 35 years and retired as a Safety & Health Manager that oversaw the Health & Safety of employees and contractors in the San Joaquin Valley. He served as a Paid Call Captain for 16 years with Taft City Fire Department and an active member of the community and currently serves on the City of Taft Community Safety Committee. In addition, he is a small business owner that provides safety at local racing & sports events within Kern County.
